GAS & ENERGY — A PRIVATE COMMISSION

One artwork for a private home. Twenty-two to give to colleagues.

A private client commissioned ULTRADISTANCIA through 48 London —the premier lifestyle management and concierge service— to create a collection inspired by gas and energy installations around the world. Through satellite imagery, colour and composition, these industrial landscapes became artworks connected to a shared professional world.

The commission comprised one piece for the client’s London residence and 23 artworks intended as gifts for colleagues—a shared professional world translated into a personal artistic gesture. 22 pieces finished in acrylic at 110 x 52 cm, and a special centerpiece tailored for the collector’s new London residence, measuring 110 x 110 cm.

Delivered to London in December 2023, the commission brought together personal collecting and the gesture of giving art.
