THE ARTWORK

The rhythm of cultivation.
A landscape woven in color.

In Bozhou, narrow agricultural plots form a dense fabric of white, grey and muted green, threaded with accents of crimson, rust and pale pink. Their tightly arranged strips change direction around clusters of settlements, while broad, winding routes cut through the finer geometry. Set in Anhui Province, China, this work from Federico Winer’s FIELDS series explores a landscape where cultivation and habitation are closely interwoven.
