THE ARTWORK
A constellation across the land.
Color held in an open field.
In Ekati Diamond Mine, blue shapes interrupt an expansive green ground, while flashes of red and pale textured areas draw the eye between distant points. Thin routes connect parts of the landscape without imposing a single dominant direction. Rather than gathering around one centre, the composition disperses its details across the surface. Seen from space, the mining terrain becomes an intricate field of intervals and connections, inviting the viewer to move slowly between its contrasting colors and irregular forms.
