THE ARTWORK
A different distance.
A new way of seeing.
In Ekati Mine, circular excavations gather into pale turquoise clusters, linked by roads that stretch across the composition like fine threads. Repeated rings within the pits contrast with irregular shorelines and angular infrastructure, drawing the eye between concentrated detail and vast intervals of black. Through this interplay of connection and distance, the work reveals the dispersed footprint of extraction, giving an industrial landscape an unexpectedly delicate presence.
