THE ARTWORK
The rhythm of cultivation.
A landscape woven in color.
In Hartswater, circular fields and broad semicircles fill an angular network of agricultural parcels in shades of pale peach, turquoise, crimson and cream. Part of Federico Winer’s FIELDS series, this work explores the cultivated landscape of South Africa from space, where curved forms meet straight boundaries and a sweeping diagonal road cuts across the composition. Concentric traces within the fields reveal the movements that shape the land, adding fine detail to its bold geometry.
Satellite imagery. Federico Winer´s ULTRADISTANCIA art process.
