The rhythm of cultivation.
A landscape woven in color.
In Kashima, narrow agricultural plots form bands of indigo, teal, pale cream and vivid orange. Fine parallel lines run through each field, while roads divide the landscape into an expansive rectangular grid. Repetition establishes a quiet order, interrupted by shifts in color, texture and proportion. Seen from space, the organisation of the land becomes a visual language: individual plots read as blocks of color, and the marks of cultivation give them the delicate texture of woven fabric.

An original artwork by Federico Winer, created from satellite imagery as part of the ULTRADISTANCIA project.

Each print is produced individually to order.
