THE ARTWORK
A landscape in folds.
Mountain contours translated into color.
In Mina Los Pelambres, ridges and channels spread across the image in tightly gathered lines. Pale crests meet turquoise shadows and deep blue forms, with warmer accents interrupting the cool palette. The eye follows the terrain through successive changes in direction, moving between broad mountain structures and intricate surface details. Within this restless topography, the geometry of extraction becomes part of a larger composition, bringing human intervention and geological form into the same richly textured field.
