A landscape drawn in lines.
An unexpected order from above.
In Minas Rio, an intense blue expanse anchors a slender, vertical landscape of turquoise terraces, golden ridges and scattered pink fragments. Fine roads branch into the surrounding white, connecting dense areas of excavation with isolated traces of infrastructure. The composition alternates between richly textured surfaces and open space, giving the terrain an almost fluid appearance.
Located in Minas Gerais, Brazil, this mining landscape reveals the close relationship between geological formations, industrial infrastructure and water systems. Seen from space, stepped excavations and winding routes become patterns through which the scale of human intervention can be read. Their engineered contours follow, interrupt and reshape the land.
