In one of the world’s most significant lithium-producing regions, the Salar de Atacama becomes a landscape of remarkable color and geometry. Evaporation ponds form vivid grids across the desert, while the surrounding geology traces its own intricate patterns.
Transformed from high-resolution satellite imagery, this artwork brings an extraordinary industrial landscape into a new perspective. It explores the meeting point of natural processes and human intervention, revealing beauty in the structures of mineral extraction and turning a complex terrain into a refined contemporary composition.

An original artwork by Federico Winer, created from satellite imagery as part of the ULTRADISTANCIA project.
Available in a strictly limited edition of 5 + AP for each size. Every artwork includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity, sent separately once the artwork has been safely received.
Each print is produced individually to order.

Archival ink on museum-quality paper print, available unframed, mounted under acrylic, in solid wood frames with or without a mat. Available options are shown in the presentation selector.
Paper used for this artwork is Fuji Crystal Archive DP II. 234 g/m²
Each finish offers a different way to experience the work. Prints are Paper and mounting materials vary according to the selected presentation.
Sizes refer to the print dimensions. Framing and matting add to the overall size of the finished piece.
