THE ARTWORK

A luminous structure in the dark.
Industrial geometry becomes composition.

In Spence Mine, bright rectangular bands extend beside curved excavated forms, creating a compact arrangement of contrasting shapes. Turquoise and green stand out against ochre and charcoal, while fine routes spread into the darker terrain beyond. The clarity of the central geometry gives the image an almost diagrammatic quality, softened by the textures of the land. Seen from space, the site becomes a carefully balanced composition in which each line and color contributes to a larger spatial rhythm.
