THE ARTWORK
An open terrain, divided.
A patchwork of color and traces.
In Tavan Tolgoi Mine, broad areas of pale pink, sand and blue sit beside one another, their edges forming a loose geometry across the panoramic surface. Fine routes and darker marks interrupt these larger divisions, introducing a second, more intricate scale. Differences in texture give each area its own visual density. The landscape appears assembled from adjoining fragments, yet remains continuous: a wide terrain whose divisions, routes and worked surfaces become the structure of the image.
